Addiction & Recovery Counseling in Colorado Springs

You don't have to know whether you have a problem to talk about it.

Maybe you know alcohol or drugs are causing problems in your life. Maybe you're already in recovery and want help staying there.

Or maybe you're somewhere in between.

You're drinking more than you'd like. Cannabis has become an everyday thing. You keep making rules for yourself and then breaking them. You're wondering whether something is actually a problem or whether you simply need to find a better balance.

You don't need a diagnosis or a label to come talk to me.

I'm both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, with extensive experience working in addiction treatment. I've worked with people across the spectrum, from those beginning to question their substance use to people struggling with serious addiction and those building a life in long-term recovery.

That experience means we can talk honestly.

I'm not going to automatically tell you that you need to quit. I'm also not going to minimize something that's hurting you.

We'll look at what's actually happening: what you're using, what you're getting from it, what it's costing you, and what you want your relationship with substances to look like.

For some people, the goal is moderation and finding balance. For others, it's sobriety. And for people already in recovery, therapy may be about staying well, preventing relapse, repairing relationships, dealing with the feelings that substances once helped manage, and building a life you don't need to escape from.

Addiction rarely exists by itself. Anxiety, trauma, relationships, loneliness, shame, stress, and major life changes can all become tangled up with substance use. We'll work on the whole person, not just the behavior.

You don't have to wait until something becomes a crisis.

If you're wondering about your substance use, that's enough reason to have the conversation.

Because I’m licensed in both mental health and addiction counseling, I can address substance use alongside the trauma, relationships, and emotional patterns that often surround it. My Colorado Springs addiction counseling practice welcomes people who are questioning their use, actively pursuing recovery, or trying to rebuild a life that feels stable and genuinely worth protecting.

Come in. Tell me what's really going on. We'll figure out what makes sense from there.
